Every now and then our Club is fined for teams not being able to get a team together on match day and not informing anyone. How angry would you be if you and your team turns up to the stadium and your opponents don't front?
The fine is $72 which covers the court hire and referees for both teams.
The players and parents of the team forfeiting are responsible for paying this fine. The invoice for the fine is sent to the Club and the team must pay this immediately. Failure to pay will risk the team being withdrawn from the competition.
* If you as an individual cannot play in the upcoming match, you must contact your Team Manager or coach as soon as possible. It is not good enough to think that there are enough players in the team and therefore you don't need to tell anyone that you won't be playing. Not turning up, without telling the Team Manager or coach, is simply letting the team down.
If your team cannot front due to illness, injuries, or any other reason, the Team Manager (or Coach) must inform their Club Level Coordinator (link below) who will then ring through the forfeit. If more than 24 hours notice is given, then the team is only liable for their normal court fee of $36. Less than 24 hours will attract the full $72 fine.
