Parent Responsibilities
As parents please ensure that :
the season and that your son/daughter has a complete
uniform.
o Your son/daughter goes to all trainings. If he/she cannot
attend please ring the coach to inform. Continual non-
attendance of trainings may result in losing a position
in the team.
o Your son/daughter treats their coach, who is a volunteer, with
the utmost respect at both training and at the match.
o If for any reason your son/daughter cannot play the next
match, please ring the Team Manager as soon as you know
so that alternative arrangements can be made.
o Your son/daughter has checked the DVBA website (a link is
on this site’s menu) to be certain of the game times.
o Your son/daughter arrives at the match no later than 10
minutes before the start time.
o The Team Manager is given the match money (approx. $6),
preferably before the match.
o Your son/daughter plays in a sportsman-like manner.
o You take your turn at scoring/timekeeping, as directed by
your Team Manager. Please don't let the same parents do
the work every week.
o During the match you support the team in a positive manner.
Any form of abuse towards players or referees is not
acceptable.
